Features: This book is divided into four sections: National Rare Plants, Huangshan-Named Plants, Major Ancient and Famous Trees, and Major Ornamental Plants. The National Rare Plants section includes 5 first-class, 16 second-class, and 16 third-class nationally protected plants naturally distributed in Huangshan, as well as 14 orchid species under the protection of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora. The Huangshan-Named Plants section includes 28 plant species whose Chinese or scientific names are named after Huangshan. The Major Ancient and Famous Trees section features 17 representative ancient trees in Huangshan. The Major Ornamental Plants section provides introductions on their ornamental characteristics, scientific research, and utilization value. Additionally, we have avoided content duplication by only listing plants with multiple attributes in the first relevant section according to the order of the four sections. For example, Magnolia huangshanensis is both a "National Rare Plant" and a "Huangshan-Named Plant," but we have only included it in the "National Rare Plants" section.
