Features: This work is a summary of the research achievements supported by the "Beijing Forestry University Revitalization Plan Talent Training Special Project" funded in 2003. Addressing the current research status where the new natural resource value theory and evaluation method system, based on new value theory and the essential attributes of natural resources, adapted to the requirements of contemporary development, is not yet well-established, the author uses natural resource value theory as a theoretical platform. Based on an analysis of the development and application of natural resource value theory both domestically and internationally, the study employs a combination of practical investigations, theoretical analysis, academic exchanges, and case studies. It summarizes ands the evaluation theories and methods for resources such as timber, forestland, wildlife and plants, and forest environments within forest resources, and conducts relevant case studies on the evaluation of forest resource value. This book can serve as a reference for broad forestry economics theorists and asset valuation practitioners.
