I have been coughing since the early stages of pregnancy, is it the culprit for fetal demise?

Patient's question:

I kept coughing during the early stages of my pregnancy for about ten days. I went to a clinic and informed the doctor that I was pregnant. The doctor prescribed Fritillaria, and advised me to stew apples with Fritillaria. I took it for three days, and the coughing stopped. However, about ten days later, when I went for a prenatal check-up, the fetus had no heartbeat, which means it had stopped developing. I was forced to have a miscarriage.
Additionally, because I previously had a daughter and this time I am carrying my second child, my family has been pressuring me to find out the sex of the baby. I am constantly afraid that it will be another daughter and that I will be forced to have a miscarriage. I live in constant anxiety. Also, my father-in-law smokes constantly in front of me.
I am wondering whether it was the medication that caused the fetal demise or...

Doctor's answer:

1, Did you have symptoms such as colds or fever during pregnancy?
2, Did you come into contact with chemicals or radioactive substances during pregnancy?
3, For women, is your menstrual cycle normal? Have you experienced irregular periods, such as less frequent periods, delayed periods, or early periods? If so, it may be due to poor follicular development and the inability of sperm to form a good embryo, ultimately leading to miscarriage.
