To strictly ensure the quality of the works, the author has only selected renowned domestic and international competitive entries from Korea, including winning proposals and award-winning designs. For this purpose, China Architecture & Building Press has established a rigorous expert review mechanism. All selected projects have been evaluated and approved by relevant Korean architectural experts and chief engineers, and then discussed and finalized by the editorial committee. China Architecture & Building Press has engaged six architectural professionals who have worked, lived, or whose native language is Korean to translate the selected content, and finally hired Chief Engineer Cui Zhengxiu of CSCEC Beijing Design and Research Institute to proofread the entire book. The works included in this book are divided into six major categories: they cover public buildings, commercial buildings, school buildings, sports facilities, museums, residential areas, and government offices, such as the Gwangju Convention Center, Seoul City Hall Plaza, Busan Design Center, Jinshan International Ginseng Logistics Center, Seoul Industrial University Language Academy, Anyang Sports Center and Ice Rink, National Biobased Resources Museum of Korea, Jiangdong District Residential Community, and Damdo Forest Park, etc.
