Features: Language education should awaken people's conscience and kindness, as well as their wisdom and dignity; it should enable our students to possess noble spirits, pure pursuits, lofty aspirations, and profound thoughts; it should elevate people's spiritual realms, thereby promoting social harmony. In such a society composed of high-level, high-quality individuals, excellence will not be a fault, kindness will not be incompetence, and tolerance will not be profaned. Everyone will live happily in a land where judgment is based not on their status or position, but on their knowledge and wisdom, blooming like flowers in the free air with radiant smiles. "Language is the most important means of communication and an important part of human culture. The unity of its tool-like and humanistic nature is the fundamental characteristic of language education." This is the elaboration of the nature of language education in the High School Language Education Standards and also the basis for my argument. However, limited by the purpose of Humanistic Perspectives on Language Education to showcase the rich humanistic connotations of language education and explore the best ways to improve students' humanistic literacy, coupled with the consideration of conciseness in writing, the tool-like nature of language education is not elaborated upon.
