Features: "The Yellow River weeps from its source, rushing down for five thousand years, embracing and weeping, until it reaches the sea," the opening is grand and majestic, filled with warm humanity amidst powerful imagery (Zheng Xiaojiong, At the Mouth of the Yellow River). "At the moment of transcending the abyss, light the ten fingers. Believe that all sincerity can illuminate the darkness." This work, imbued with a touch of magic, further highlights its cohesive structure and the agility of its poetic language (Ling Fen, Scenery Like the Sea and Other Poems). Haiye's Snow Falls in the Mortal World expands the traditional framework of landscape prose poems while retaining the poet's (wǎnlì xìnì) style, displaying an imperceptible restraint in its descriptive prose, elevating the winter scenery of reality into a soul-stirring gaze. The compiler has meticulously sifted through prose poems, poems, and literary publications from across the nation, carefully selecting outstanding works that are both artistically and intellectually exemplary, representative, and authoritative. This book collects nearly 400 prose poems (chapters) by 198 authors, including Guofeng, Geng Linmang, Zheng Xiaojiong, Ling Fen, and Haiye. It includes prose such as At the Mouth of the Yellow River, Above the Sky, Bringing Home the Raindrops on the Way, Through a River Dissolved by Poetry, Chronicles of the Plain, and Western Sichuan Villages.
