Features: Autonomous physical experiments refer to laboratory activities in a physics teaching environment where schools provide certain hardware facilities, and experiments are managed, explored, and evaluated independently by students under the guidance of physics teachers. At the basic education stage, students have a strong interest and curiosity in surrounding things, along with a desire for continuous attempts and exploration. During this period, it is important to cultivate students' interest and allow them to experience the process of scientific inquiry independently, which helps to stimulate their intrinsic motivation to learn. Under the guidance of teachers, through independent or collaborative efforts, the application of new materials and technologies for assembly and testing, and by designing their own projects, students can understand the impact of science and technology on human life and production, thereby enhancing their scientific and technological literacy. This book is divided into three parts: the Interest Section, the Inquiry Section, and the Innovation Section. The Interest Section contains 58 experiments, the Inquiry Section contains 40 experiments, and the Innovation Section contains 20 experiments. These experiments are selected from decades of experience in developing autonomous physical experiments and conducting research on middle school physics teaching. They are representative and can serve not only as autonomous experiments for students but also as new resources for teachers to conduct demonstration experiments in physics classes and for students to engage in research-based learning.
