The second and fourth items are positive, is it hepatitis B?

Patient's question:

I tested positive for the second and fourth items of the hepatitis B two pairs of half, how do I have hepatitis B, I used to test for antibodies, please explain.

Doctor's answer:

Hello! A positive surface antibody to the hepatitis B virus indicates that you have previously been infected with the hepatitis B virus but have cleared it, or you have been vaccinated against hepatitis B and have developed protective antibodies. This proves that you already have immunity. Generally, you are highly unlikely to be infected again. The higher the titer of hepatitis B surface antibody in the serum, the stronger the protection. However, the titer of hepatitis B antibodies gradually increases over time, usually boosting every 4-5 years. It is recommended to get regular check-ups to confirm this. Ideally, if the titer of the five hepatitis B markers is higher than 10 micrograms per liter, you should get a booster dose of the hepatitis B vaccine. Otherwise, you may still be at risk of re-infection with the hepatitis B virus.
