Features: A must-have for refined scholars. In the reign of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty, officials were selected to choose calligraphy works from the imperial collection of masters. The finest craftsmanship was gathered, modeled, engraved on stone, and carved into albums. The albums were named "Three Praises" () because they contained three rare treasures: Wang Xizhi's "Quick Snow Clearing in Good Weather" (), Wang Xuanzhi's "Mid-Autumn" (), and Wang Xun's "Far-off Friend" ().
The entire collection of calligraphy albums gathered over 340 works in (regular script), (running script), and (cursive script) by 135 masters from different dynasties, along with over 200 inscriptions and more than 1,600 seals, totaling over 90,000 characters. The carvings were made on 500 stone slabs and divided into 32 volumes. As the carvings were made from ink rubbings and the craftsmanship was meticulous, the albums were highly praised by later generations.
