Features: The Criminal Law of the People's Republic of China (hereinafter referred to as the Criminal Law) was revised in March 1997. From December 1998 to December 2005, the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPCSC) amended and supplemented the Criminal Law based on changing circumstances, passing the "Decision of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress on Punishing the Crime of Fraudulently Purchasing Foreign Exchange, Evading Exchange Control, and Illegally Trading Foreign Exchange" and five Criminal Law amendments. To facilitate readers in referencing and studying the Criminal Law, the Criminal Law Office of the NPCSC's Legal Affairs Commission has scientifically organized the Criminal Law based on the NPCSC's decisions, amendments, and legislative interpretations on the Criminal Law: 1. The content newly added in the Decision is treated as annotations and placed in Section 4 of Chapter 3 of the Criminal Law, "Crimes Against Financial Management Order." The modified content in the Decision is directly incorporated into the Criminal Law articles with detailed annotations. 2. According to the provisions of the amendments, the content of the amendments is directly incorporated into the Criminal Law articles with detailed annotations. 3. The content of legislative interpretations is reflected in the annotations of relevant Criminal Law articles. In addition, this book collects all decisions, amendments, legislative interpretations, and other regulations related to the Criminal Law as appendices, making it the most up-to-date and comprehensive Criminal Law text to date.
