Features: The rise of the lawn industry is a sign of human civilization and social progress reaching a certain level. The lush green lawns not only add endless poetic charm to people's lives but are also closely related to the development of sports, tourism and leisure, urban greening, environmental protection, and soil and water conservation. Currently, the most commonly used lawn plants are grasses. In addition, there are a few species such as legumes, sedge, lily, and morning glory. Since the reform and opening-up, China's lawn industry has entered a new era of large-scale development. Combining windbreak and sand fixation, soil and water conservation, and urban greening, the area of lawn planting has been continuously increasing. Major cities and enterprises are building and expanding green spaces. With the development of tourism and sports, specialized lawns such as golf courses and football fields are constantly emerging and being updated. Statistics show that China's lawn area is approximately 634,000 hectares, and the development speed of China's lawn industry has exceeded the growth rate of the national economy. However, due to the lagging scientific research development in the lawn industry, there are still many urgent issues in lawn construction and protection, among which lawn weed control is particularly important. Among all crops, lawns suffer the least damage from weeds after fruits, vegetables, and some cash crops. Lawn weeds not only severely reduce the practical and ornamental value of lawns but also lead to early aging and destruction of lawns. Especially harmful weeds have been rampant in recent years. Lawn weed control has always been one of the main tasks of lawn maintenance. With the rapid development of China's lawn industry, lawn weed control has become increasingly prominent and important.
