Is there a hospital that specializes in treating liver diseases?

Patient's question:

Hepatitis B carrier, but it is no longer contagious now. I don't know if this disease can be completely cured?

Doctor's answer:

A hepatitis B carrier, also known as a hepatitis B virus carrier, mostly refers to an asymptomatic hepatitis B carrier (ASC), which means that blood tests show only a positive hepatitis B surface antigen. Some also say it refers to various patterns of positive hepatitis B surface antigen and surface antibody (HBsAb) tests (excluding single positive for surface antibody), without any symptoms or signs of hepatitis, and normal liver function tests. Although hepatitis B carriers are not infectious, they should be taken seriously. They should undergo follow-up for more than three times within a year, with serum ALT and AST both within the normal range, and generally no significant abnormalities in liver histology tests. However, for those with positive serum HBV DNA, they should be encouraged to undergo liver needle biopsy for further diagnosis and additional treatment.
