Features: The competition of 21st century ultimately boils down to the competition of talent. Whether it is the economic development of developed countries or developing countries, there is an urgent need for a large number of modern management talents engaged in warehousing, transportation, procurement, distribution, information management, and other related work. Especially, senior technical talents who can apply modern science and technology to conduct comprehensive research, design, technological development, and management of logistics systems and logistics equipment are in high demand. To this end, the following measures must be taken:
(1) Strengthen academic education. The government departments in charge of education should encourage and allow various higher education institutions and secondary vocational schools to establish and set up relevant majors and courses according to the market demand for talent, in order to cultivate senior management talents and professional talents with modern logistics technology in the logistics field.
(2) Emphasize continuing education. Guide enterprises, industry organizations, and private educational institutions to participate in and carry out multi-level talent cultivation and education in logistics.
(3) Implement warehousing vocational education. Learn from international experience and promote a qualification management system for warehousing practitioners in the logistics industry. That is, based on their educational background, warehousing professional knowledge, and skill expertise, confirm the logistics work they are capable of performing.
