Features: The study of science is a newly emerging discipline that arises when modern science reaches a mature stage and engages in self-awareness. The management of science and technology, on the other hand, is a soft science discipline that applies the principles of the study of science and management to explore the laws and applications of science and technology management. Promoting the self-awareness and cutting-edge development of science and the study of science, while laying a solid and reliable foundation for science and technology management, is the purpose of editing and publishing the first annual of the study of science and technology management in China. Instead, it seeks to create a clear and bright academic lens for the science and technology community, the academic community of science, and related academic fields to collectively examine the exploration activities of science and technology and the study of science, identify their past achievements and shortcomings, reflect on the outcomes of their consequences—both joys and sorrows—and track the development trends at the forefront, confirming the future direction of progress.
