Features: The "Gaokao Red Booklet" follows the philosophy of "consolidating foundations, breaking through key points, and gradually improving." Since its inception in 2001, it has undergone continuous refinement and development, now forming eight sets of question papers, including the "Comprehensive Review Volume from Top Schools across the Nation" (referred to as the Comprehensive Review Volume), the "Full Analysis Volume of Gaokao Questions from Top Schools across the Nation" (referred to as the Full Analysis Volume), the "Top Schools Specialized Review Volume" (referred to as the Specialized Review Volume), the "Top Schools Express Information Volume" (referred to as the Information Volume), the "Top Schools Authoritative Prediction Volume" (referred to as the Prediction Volume), and the "Top Schools Gaokao Exam Prediction Volume" (referred to as the Exam Prediction Volume). From foundational consolidation to ability enhancement, each stage is seamlessly connected, forming a complete comprehensive review system that aligns with the various stages of Gaokao preparation, covering the entire process of Gaokao comprehensive review. With its excellent quality, timely and accurate information, and innovative question types and themes, it has won the deep appreciation of a vast number of candidates, establishing itself as a leading brand in Gaokao comprehensive review. The Gaokao Red Booklet boasts an extremely high hit rate in exam predictions, having accurately anticipated questions from the national Gaokao paper as well as those from various independently administered Gaokao papers for many consecutive years. In 2006, the Gaokao Red Booklet series achieved a new record in prediction accuracy, earning widespread praise from teachers and students. This year, we have specially invited senior teachers and question-setting experts from renowned schools such as Huanggang High School, Qidong High School, Peking University High School, Hangzhou No. 2 High School, Hunan Normal University High School, Fuzhou No. 1 High School, Harbin No. 3 High School, Jiangxi Normal University High School, and Northwest Polytechnical University High School to personally author the "Top Schools Express Information Volume." The volume features a high number of original and adapted questions, all of high quality, with novel question types and themes that are highly contemporary and closely tied to real-world scenarios. The questions cover a broad range of knowledge areas and employ flexible and varied assessment angles, effectively evaluating students' grasp of foundational knowledge while also cultivating their ability to apply knowledge comprehensively, aligning with the practical needs of Gaokao preparation. The Gaokao Red Booklet "Top Schools Express Information Volume" is available in six editions: Chinese, Mathematics, English (with listening), English (without listening), Liberal Arts Comprehensive, and Science Comprehensive. Each edition consists of three parts: "Interpretation of the 2007 Gaokao Exam Syllabus," "Top Schools Express Information Volume (including nine sets)," and "Answer Key." The distinctive features are as follows:
1. "Interpretation of the 2007 Gaokao Exam Syllabus" begins by comparing the 2007 Gaokao Exam Syllabus with the 2006 version, summarizing high-frequency exam points from previous years and summarizing techniques to guide candidates in their 2007 Gaokao preparation. Specific adjustments to the 2007 syllabus include:
- The Chinese syllabus has enriched and refined the requirements for writing, emphasizing "richness" and "literary flair," while strengthening the assessment of common character pronunciations and forms.
- The mathematics syllabus has reduced the difficulty requirements for certain knowledge points in "trigonometric functions and solid geometry."
- The biology syllabus has added new exam points such as "the structure of biological communities, the stability of the biosphere, and sustainable development of human society," with more detailed and specific elaboration on the "understanding ability" section in the ability requirements.
- The chemistry syllabus has adopted a more scientific approach to the description of experimental abilities, removed the simple calculation requirement for "mastering the solubility of substances," and made certain adjustments to the scope and requirements of chemical experiments.
2. The question types, quantities, and point values for Chinese, mathematics, liberal arts comprehensive, and science comprehensive papers are primarily designed based on the 2006 national Gaokao paper I model.
3. The English (with listening) edition follows the national Gaokao paper I model. The listening tapes are read by the original designated experts for the national Gaokao English listening exam: Paul Denman and Helena Iveson, with the recording cast being the same as that for the national Gaokao English listening exam. The style is identical to that of the Gaokao listening section, allowing candidates to experience a zero-distance encounter with the Gaokao listening environment by practicing with the Gaokao Red Booklet "Top Schools Express Information Volume."
4. The English (without listening) edition follows the national Gaokao paper II model.
5. The "Answer Key" not only provides accurate answers and thought analysis for the questions but also offers multiple solution approaches for flexible and classic questions, along with comments or special tips.
In recent years, with the deepening of Gaokao reforms, more provinces and cities have adopted independently administered Gaokao exams. However, the principle of centering on the Ministry of Education's "Exam Syllabus" remains unchanged. The Gaokao Red Booklet "Top Schools Express Information Volume" is set in the national Gaokao format, fully reflecting the spirit of the "Exam Syllabus." Other independently administered Gaokao papers are innovations and variations based on the national Gaokao model, so this volume is equally suitable for preparation for both national and independently administered Gaokao exams, helping candidates achieve their university dreams.
"Promoting Science and Culture, Cultivating Excellence" is our driving force for continuous progress. We firmly believe that through our dedicated efforts, the Gaokao Red Booklet series will become your trusted guide and companion, helping you achieve your ideal university and create a bright future for yourself!
