After reading, it is suggested to review the article and the vocabulary and phrases marked in the annotations, then complete the "Language Consolidation" exercises. The first part of these exercises requires writing the Chinese meaning of words or phrases to reinforce the vocabulary learned. The second part focuses on practicing important sentence patterns found in the article. If you don’t understand why certain words are used in the original sentences, that’s okay—the goal is to develop a sense of these patterns, which will become clearer over time.
