Epilepsy, also known as goat horn, is a neurological disorder characterized by recurrent seizures due to its complex etiology and unpredictable onset. It is considered one of the world's three most intractable diseases. In mild cases, symptoms may include localized numbness, a sensation similar to electric needle stimulation, difficulty concentrating, involuntary blinking, dry throat, and language hallucinations, with varying frequencies of daily recurrence. In severe cases, symptoms may involve sudden falls, loss of consciousness, foaming at the mouth, rolling eyes, clenched teeth, generalized convulsions, and incontinence. In even more severe cases, persistent grand mal seizures may occur.
