Recurrent hernia what problems

Patient's question:

I've been about a week post-hernia surgery, and the wound isn't hurting much anymore. Is that normal? (I had the most traditional repair method, without a mesh patch) Today, I sneezed and felt a bulge at the incision. Is there a possibility of recurrence? I'm 20.

Doctor's answer:

Usually, it only needs to be noted to prevent constipation, indigestion, and crying, which increase abdominal pressure, so it may heal on its own. If a hernia bag can be purchased to block the protruding area of the hernia, it can further increase the possibility of self-healing. If it can be reversed, it won't affect anything, but if it becomes incarcerated and cannot be reversed, emergency surgery should be performed at any time.
