This exercise book is based on the "Basic Requirements for Advanced Mathematics Teaching" formulated by the Teaching Guidance Committee of Higher Education Engineering Mathematics Courses and is organized in the same chapter order as general advanced mathematics textbooks. Therefore, it can be used in conjunction with general textbooks. Each chapter consists of three parts: examples, basic problems, and miscellaneous problems (approximately 100 examples, 1,430 basic problems, and 900 miscellaneous problems). The examples are designed to complement the solutions to the miscellaneous problems, and all calculation problems come with answers. To inspire thinking and provide problem-solving methods, hints are given for most of the miscellaneous problems.
For students preparing for postgraduate entrance exams, after solving the basic problems, they can read the examples and select some of the miscellaneous problems to work on. For students in certain fields with lower requirements for advanced mathematics, completing the basic problems and doing a small number of miscellaneous problems will suffice.
