Features: The Japanese aggressors launched the "September 18th Incident" in defiance, and the Northeast Army retreated without fighting. After the successive defeats of the 300,000 righteous army, the Communist Party of China established the Anti-Japanese United Front in Northeast China. Over the long span of fifteen years, it had no government support, no rear support, lacked food and ammunition, and relied solely on itself to obtain personnel, military funds, and supplies from the war. It also had no allied forces and basically received no international aid. Against the backdrop of being outnumbered, it also lacked a stable base area. Under the so-called leadership of Wang Ming and Kang Sheng, it severed contact with the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, leading to unnecessary misunderstandings and splits within the organization. However, over those fifteen years, it fought alone, surviving on roots and tree bark, making the vast forests and snowy wilderness its home, wearing Japanese enemy uniforms and using their rifles, and persisting in the war. It experienced ups and downs, joys and sorrows, creating a unique and tragic story. With blood and life, it achieved a glorious record of killing and wounding over 100,000 Japanese and puppet soldiers, severely striking the invaders and tying down hundreds of thousands of elite Japanese troops from entering the capital, effectively supporting the nationwide resistance. Yang Jingyu, Zhao Shangzhi, Zhou Baozhong, Li Yanlu, Zhao Yiman, Li Zhaolin, Wei Zhenmin, and Wang Yachen are the glorious representatives of this army, forming a heroic gallery of the Chinese nation during those hard times.
