For this condition, surgical treatment is not always used. In younger individuals who have not yet married and exhibit symptoms, a scrotal support band can be used to elevate the scrotum, and the symptoms will disappear. These patients often experience symptom resolution after marriage. For more severe symptoms, high ligation of the internal spermatic vein can be performed.
