Features: In the treasure trove of traditional Chinese culture, Han art is not only a "history of embroidered images" but also a precious artistic gem, a unique cultural marvel, and a dazzling pearl shining brightly in the world. China has a long history of studying Han art. During the Ming and Qing dynasties, scholars specializing in Han art emerged. Today, a dedicated field—Han Art Studies—has been established. In the classrooms of the College of Confucian Studies at Renmin University of China, "Han Art Studies" has achieved the same academic status as the "Book of Songs." In the history of contemporary Chinese academia, Han Art Studies has also become a research focus that attracts widespread attention from scholars. The 10th annual conference of the Chinese Han Art Society was held at Nanyang Normal University, a great honor for our institution and a significant event for the field of Han art research in China. Guided by the spirit of "uniting through literature," the organizing committee of the 10th annual conference of the Han Art Society, under the meticulous direction of Mr. Gu Sen, issued a call for papers nationwide in the first half of 2006 and received strong support from scholars across the country, collecting over 100 academic papers. The authors of these papers come from all over China, including university professors, experts in mechanical studies, researchers from local cultural and heritage institutions, respected senior scholars, and young graduate students from universities. From different perspectives, they have expressed their insights on Han culture research, and the quality of these articles is high and highly innovative. This book is the crystallization of the 10th annual conference of the Chinese Han Art Society, where authors express their insights on Han culture research from various perspectives, with articles of high quality and innovative ideas.
