Features: The interaction between Confucian studies and literature is a hallmark of the deepening study of Qing Dynasty literature, and the relationship between the Changzhou School and various literary forms is a key topic in such in-depth research. This topic not only requires integrating Confucian classics, history, philosophy, and literature but also must rigorously reveal the path of transformation during the middle and late (or modern) period of the Qing Dynasty. This book conducts an in-depth study of Confucian studies and literature in the Qing Dynasty, using the Changzhou intellectual group as a model. The content is rich, the arguments are thorough, and it holds significant academic value. In my opinion, the study of Qing Dynasty literature absolutely cannot limit its focus to a few so-called famous and prominent figures, as that would undoubtedly be a case of stagnation. The main title of my work strives to achieve a broad research perspective, with a wide range of evidence, naturally involving scholars and literati without restrictions on their status and not confined to the Changzhou prefecture, to avoid being trapped in a narrow framework and losing sight of the bigger picture.
