Features: The proposal of experiential education is based on the governance strategy of combining "rule of law" and "governance with virtue." It is an exploration of effective approaches for moral education among young people, developed in response to the demands of the times and the need to enhance the relevance, effectiveness, and proactivity of moral education. Building on the educational philosophy formed over the past 50 years by the Young Pioneers, experiential education aims to internalize fundamental principles of conduct into healthy psychological traits and transform them into positive behavioral habits through direct participation. This is a process involving moral cognition, the elevation of moral emotions, moral practice, and socialization.
The experience gained in practice is accompanied by different layers of meaning throughout the stages of moral cognition among young people, as well as throughout the entire process of internalizing knowledge, emotions, intentions, and actions in moral development. It is also present throughout the stages of cultivating moral character and the gradual process of socialization among young people.
The implementation of experiential education focuses on refining good behavioral habits that young people should cultivate, based on the relationships between people, society, nature, and self. It takes the form of experiencing life from one's own perspective, from the perspective of others, or by immersing oneself in specific events or scenarios. The goal is to make the educational content resonate with young people's hearts, penetrate their inner thoughts, and ultimately manifest as concrete actions, thereby laying a foundation for them to develop good behavioral habits.
