Features: This year marks the 10th anniversary of the promulgation of the Labor Law of the People's Republic of China. These ten years have been a period of rapid advancement in China's legal system construction, during which a large number of laws and regulations were formulated or revised. This situation has led more and more people to seek legal protection to safeguard their rights. To provide a powerful tool for the still-disadvantaged general public to exercise their rights, we have edited and published the sub-series Labor Self-Help Handbook of the "Legal and Life Series," which includes five volumes covering all aspects of labor life. These volumes are: Supervision of Social Insurance, Industrial Injury, and Medical Insurance, Old-Age, Unemployment, and Maternity Insurance, Wages, Rest Time, and Labor Disputes, Labor Contracts and Labor Employment, and Labor Safety, Labor Protection, and Prevention and Treatment of Occupational Diseases. Each volume not only includes relevant laws, administrative regulations, departmental rules, and other regulatory documents but also features typical cases released by the Supreme People's Court or local courts on related topics, enhancing the practicality of the series as a legal reference.
At the same time, to better suit non-professional readers, we have provided FAQs before important laws, administrative regulations, and departmental rules to guide and help readers quickly identify the key points of each regulation, enabling them to resolve practical issues more efficiently. We have also added annotations to relevant terms in the regulations to assist general readers in understanding and applying the laws. We hope that our product can serve as a reliable self-help tool for ordinary laborers when they encounter related difficulties.
