Features: Since the reform and opening-up, our Party has regarded combating corruption as a major task concerning the life and death of the Party and the state. Strengthening Party discipline and integrity, fostering a fair, just, and harmonious social atmosphere, have been regarded as an inevitable requirement for achieving rapid and sound economic and social development. We have persistently carried out anti-corruption and integrity-building work. Through continuous practice, we have summarized and formed a strategic approach of "treating both root and symptom, comprehensively combating and preventing, punishing and preventing simultaneously, with emphasis on prevention." We have also proposed a set of clear and effective ideas and measures for anti-corruption and integrity-building. The Sixth Plenary Session of the 17th Central Committee has put forward higher requirements for anti-corruption and integrity-building from the perspective of building a harmonious socialist society. All levels of disciplinary inspection and supervision organs must align their understanding with the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session, deeply recognize that strengthening Party discipline and integrity is an objective requirement and important guarantee for building a harmonious socialist society, further enhance their sense of mission and responsibility, implement the Central Committee's decisions and arrangements on anti-corruption and integrity-building, and continuously achieve new and significant results.
