Features: 2006 was the starting year of the "11th Five-Year Plan." Although China's mechanical general parts industry maintained steady growth during the "10th Five-Year Plan" period, with rapid sales growth and further optimization of capital and product structures, there are still many issues to be addressed to achieve sustainable, stable, and healthy development in the next five years. These include: the heavy task of restructuring within the industry, the urgent need to enhance independent innovation capabilities, increasing cost pressure from rising raw material prices, shrinking profit margins, and multinational companies actively investing in parts factories in China to form self-sufficient systems, which pose more severe challenges to the future development of the national industry. The China Mechanical General Parts Industry Association hopes to further strengthen communication with all sectors through the China Mechanical General Parts Industry Yearbook (hereinafter referred to as the Yearbook), enhance mutual understanding, and work together to build the Chinese mechanical general parts industry into a strong and prosperous one. The publication of this Yearbook will provide important information and references for enterprises to analyze market trends, formulate development strategies, and explore business ideas, and it will play a positive role in promoting the healthy development of the Chinese mechanical general parts industry.
