Left testicular seminal vesicle cyst, how to treat

Patient's question:

Ultrasound Results: Left testis size 362522mm, right testis size 382718mm, smooth tunica albuginea, uniform internal echoes. CDFI: Normal blood flow distribution.
Left epididymis is thickened and enlarged, epididymal body thickness is approximately 9mm, internal echoes show a mesh-like pattern with scattered gravel-like strong echoes accompanied by comet tails, epididymal blood flow signals are relatively richer than normal; right epididymis shows no significant abnormalities.
Prostate morphology and size are normal, smooth tunica albuginea, slightly inhomogeneous with a few punctate strong echoes, normal inner/outer gland ratio. CDFI: Normal blood flow distribution.
Left seminal vesicle size 3210mm, a cyst approximately 87mm in size is observed; right seminal vesicle size 4110mm, clear boundaries, internal tubular glandular cavities without echoes.
Both bilateral vas deferens ampullae are visible, clear boundaries, no significant abnormal echoes inside.

Doctor's answer:

Hello, based on your description, it cannot be ruled out that conditions such as orchitis and epididymitis may be present. These are often caused by bacterial invasion of the testicles. The main route of infection is retrograde infection, which commonly occurs in patients with lower urinary tract infections, prostatitis, post-urethral surgery, or those with long-term indwelling catheters, leading to epididymitis and orchitis. It can also spread through the bloodstream to the testicles, causing isolated orchitis. The causative bacteria are often Escherichia coli, Proteus, Staphylococcus, Enterococcus, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa, among others.
