Features: "The Appreciation and Cultivation of Chinese Orchids and Control of Pests and Diseases" systematically elaborates and studies the botany, physiology, cultivation techniques, and pest and disease control of Chinese orchids. It comprehensively and systematically proposes standardized cultivation techniques for national orchids, while systematically summarizing and elevating the ornamental forms of Chinese orchids, laying some foundational research work for the systematic theory of artful orchid cultivation in China. It is written as part of the "Series of Monographs on Chinese Orchids" for the study of Chinese orchids, serving as a general overview of Chinese orchids, which can be considered the general introduction to the "Series of Monographs on Chinese Orchids." The appreciation of Chinese orchid art is continuously developing and improving. This is the driving force for the dynamic and contemporary vitality of Chinese orchid culture. In fact, exploring new forms of artistic appreciation or the connections between traditional forms, integrating them into a cohesive whole, also represents the composite emergence of ornamental forms, collectively expressing the artistic form of orchid cultivation—temporarily referred to as the composite art of color-and-leaf orchids or simply composite art. This book provides a systematic introduction to this aspect.
