Features: In the two volumes of "Introduction to Guqin Music" (1864), there are ten pieces where the gongchi notation is annotated alongside the zhangzi (finger-position notation). Among these, five pieces also include a special "yinxie" notation, which uses dots to indicate rhythm next to the gongchi characters. Previously, guqin's zhangzi only recorded pitch positions and finger techniques, without indicating pitch or rhythm. This combined notation system brought significant changes in this regard. This change was not achieved by reforming the internal structure of the zhangzi but by adding external conditions. Additionally, this type of guqin notation is also used in the "Me'an Guqin Pian" of the Me'an school.
