Features: This book is a selection of outstanding works from the China Academy of Art, positioned as "standardized and excellent." Therefore, the selection of works is extremely rigorous, with multiple layers of review and a year-long collection process. When collecting sample paintings, many works were highly spirited, but they were abandoned due to excessive publication history. Our idea is to feature as many new and original works as possible to enhance the book's readability. By carefully studying these works, we can sense the authors' reflections, pursuits, and natural emotional expressions. From the visual effects, the color works are vibrant and lively, with smooth brushstrokes, strong yet harmonious color relationships, a balance between restraint and freedom, embodying the relaxed, bright, and meticulously rigorous artistic style typical of the Southern painting school. The figure works exhibit vivid imagery and expressive poses. Whether it's the portrayal of external features, the capture of subtle expressions, the depiction of inner emotions, or the analysis, shaping, and differentiation of textures in different parts of the figures, all are handled accurately and convincingly. The plaster sculptures are substantial in form, with rigorous structures and rich, delicate tones. The rendering of plaster's light, texture, spatial sense, and the overall atmosphere of the paintings are realistic and touching, effectively conveying the spiritual essence of ancient Greek and Roman sculptures, showcasing a high level of artistic achievement. The book basically reflects the teaching achievements and characteristics of the China Academy of Art in recent years.
