Features: This book collects the seals and inscriptions of 1,220 deceased calligraphers, painters, and collectors from the Tang Dynasty to the modern era, totaling over 23,000 pieces. The arrangement of seals and inscriptions in this book follows the order of seals first, inscriptions second, numbered sequentially from start to end. Most of the seals and inscriptions of calligraphers, painters, and collectors collected in this book are directly photographed from the original works, with only a few taken from various printed seal albums. For those reprinted and included in this book, an asterisk () is marked before the textual annotations of the seals and inscriptions. The seals collected are all in their original size. Only a few reprinted from albums or publications may have slight variations in size. Due to space limitations, the inscriptions are not uniformly preserved in their original size. After the textual annotations of the seals and inscriptions, the name of the artwork from which they were taken is always noted. This includes the original names of inscriptions, colophons, and prefaces written for others. The arrangement of seals generally follows the size of the seal surface, starting with smaller sizes and progressing to larger ones. For seals with the same text but slightly varying sizes, they are still arranged consecutively for easy reference. For the same seal stamped at different times with visible changes on the seal surface, they are included in chronological order.
