Author: Zhong Yixin
Publisher:
Publishing Date: 2002-10-01
Features: This book systematically elucidates the concepts, principles, and methods of information science based on the creation of the theory of all information, the theory of knowledge, and the methodology of information science, standing out uniquely both domestically and internationally. The book is divided into four parts. Part 1 provides the definition and structural system of information science, serving as the general outline of the entire book; Part 2 proposes and establishes the theory of all information, forming the foundation of the book; Part 3 applies the theory of all information to elucidate the fundamental principles of information science, organically integrating the previously separate theories of identification, communication, cognition, decision-making, intelligence, control, and systems into a unified science, completing the theoretical construction of information science and serving as the core of the book; Part 4 summarizes the methodology and main applications of information science, showcasing its immense vitality and serving as the soul of the book. The book is profound in thought, rigorous in logic, and accessible in explanation, making it suitable as a textbook for graduate students and senior undergraduate students in the field of information science in higher education institutions, as a reference book for self-study by scientific and technical personnel in related fields, and as a basic textbook for readers in other fields to learn information science.
