Features: In response to the demands and practical needs of candidates preparing for the postgraduate entrance examination, we have compiled this "Detailed Explanation of Past Postgraduate Entrance Examination Papers in Russian." This book provides detailed explanations for six sets of postgraduate entrance examination papers from 1998 to 2006. The specific approach is as follows:
1. Listening: Only the written materials are provided.
2. Reading Comprehension: Both the passages and questions are fully translated, and the main ideas are summarized. For each question after the passage, a concise analysis is given on the key points of answering, and the rationale for selecting the answer is explained. When necessary, explanations are provided for easily mistaken choices.
3. Vocabulary and Grammar: Each sentence is translated, and some explanations start by analyzing the correct answer, then compare and explain why other options are unsuitable for the sentence. Others use the elimination method, gradually ruling out options that do not fit grammatically or semantically to arrive at the correct answer. Special attention is paid to pointing out the reasons for the correctness or incorrectness of the answers, enabling candidates to make similar judgments when encountering similar problems.
4. Translation: Starting with an analysis of grammatical and semantic phenomena, key words that affect the understanding of the original meaning are identified and explained step by step to arrive at the correct translation. When necessary, alternative acceptable translations are provided alongside the standard answer, which helps candidates expand their thinking and flexibly handle language phenomena.
5. Writing: Considering that analyzing the original question and providing model answers is not very meaningful, this section is omitted. It is recommended to refer to "Essentials of University Russian Writing" (Revised Edition) (Edited by Chen Guoting, Harbin Institute of Technology Press). We believe that after studying this book, candidates will see an improvement in their exam scores. Due to our limited expertise, it is inevitable that there may be shortcomings and errors in the book. We sincerely hope for the readers' criticism and corrections.
