Below each selected poem in this book, there are four parts of supplementary learning materials: annotations, translations, author biographies, and works appreciation. The annotations provide explanations for some difficult words, phrases, and allusions, with efforts to ensure accuracy and conciseness. The translations convert ancient poems into modern Chinese while striving to preserve the original artistic conception, facilitating students' understanding. The author biographies offer relevant background information about the authors and their works. The works appreciation focuses on analyzing the main content and characteristics of the articles to help students better grasp the ideological and artistic features of the works. Additionally, the book includes several illustrations that correspond to the content of the poems, aiding students in deepening their understanding and broadening their perspectives.
