Features: The concept of financial ecology borrows from biomimicry, applying ecological concepts from the natural world to the financial domain. We view the financial ecosystem as consisting of two parts: one is the financial entities, which are the providers of financial products and services, including institutions, markets, and regulators; the other is the financial ecological environment, which includes consumers of financial products and services, as well as social, economic, legal, and cultural environments. We primarily explore the relationship between the financial ecological environment, regional environmental differences, and financial risks.
