The pursuit of "humanistic renewal" is the goal of this book and also the aspiration of the Chinese people at present. The burden is heavy, and we hope that the knowledgeable and wise will help to achieve it. Humanistic culture is a culture of self-reflection, and humanistic care reflects a high cultural mission. The humanistic spirit points to a human ideal system centered on truth, goodness, and beauty, which is the core connotation of "what makes a person human." Humanistic education is the "uselessness" of "usefulness," because its purpose is to promote the complete independence and self-perfection of humans as life and spiritual subjects, engaging in in-depth and extensive discussions on the big questions of "how to be a person" and "what kind of person to be." The status of humanistic education, in the ultimate sense, reflects the position of freedom in our hearts, the position of the meaning of life in life, and the position of humans in the universe.
