Doctor's answer:
Hello: For the treatment of micropenis, different approaches should be taken based on individual circumstances. For example, if the condition is caused by varicocele, the issue can be resolved by undergoing varicocele surgery. However, for micropenis caused by congenital factors, such as in Klinefelter syndrome, treatments include testosterone propionate 50 mg administered via intramuscular injection twice a week, or methyltestosterone 5 mg taken orally three times a day. These treatments can promote the development of male secondary sexual characteristics, enhance libido, and maintain normal sexual function. For mild cases where testicular development is still within an acceptable age range, human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) 2000 units can be administered via intramuscular injection every other day to stimulate testicular development, though the results may not be ideal. Regardless of the treatment method used, it can only improve sexual function and the development of secondary sexual characteristics but cannot restore fertility.
