Business tycoon Kazuo Kazama is at the height of his career when his beautiful wife, Emiko, and the painter Hiroshi Ishikawa “die for love” together, leading to a tragic death and a coma. In addition to Kazama’s three stunning mistresses who arrive at the scene of the “love suicide,” there is also the reporter Mizuki Mita of the Toyo Daily. When Mizuki Mita and Kazama strike a secret deal to uncover the truth of the incident, the three mistresses of Kazama are successively murdered. If it weren’t for Kogoro Mori’s intervention to save him, even the reporter Mizuki Mita might have fallen victim to a gunshot. In fact, even Kogoro Mori has to admit that the murderer, “The Rain Man,” is incredibly cunning.
