Chromosome abnormalities, can you get pregnant normally?

Patient's question:

My chromosome 3 short arm (P25) and chromosome 8 short arm (P11.2) have partially translocated.
Sperm A+B is now 44.1, previously A+B was 25.
My wife has premature ovarian failure and thyroiditis.

Doctor's answer:

Generally, it is not possible. Patients with chromosomal abnormalities often experience spontaneous miscarriage after each pregnancy. It is recommended that both partners visit a professional hospital for infertility for systematic chromosomal testing in a timely manner. After identifying the cause, further considerations can be made. Current medical methods cannot completely cure patients with chromosomal abnormalities. It is recommended that you consider in vitro fertilization.
