Testicular asymmetry (one higher than the other) is always varicocele?

Patient's question:

[Condition Description: It looks fine from the outside, but when touched, you can feel the difference. If one testicle is higher than the other, is it definitely varicocele? History of treatment and effectiveness: There has been no significant help sought: Professional medical answer

Doctor's answer:

Some people have one testicle larger or smaller, higher or lower than the other. If the difference is not significant, it is considered normal. The typical symptom of varicocele is its high incidence in the left side. The typical clinical manifestations include discomfort in the perineal area and a sense of heaviness or pain in the scrotum, which can radiate downward to the lower abdomen, groin, and waist. Symptoms worsen after exertion, prolonged standing, or walking, but they can be significantly relieved or disappear with rest in a supine position. Testicular ultrasound can clearly determine whether varicocele exists in the spermatic cord and whether there are any abnormalities in the testicle itself.
