Publish Date: 2006-09-01
Features: To adapt to the needs of higher education talent training in the new era, as well as the new trends and characteristics of scientific and technological development, this revised edition is based on the second version of the book, aligning with the new teaching syllabus. It is designed to meet the requirements of relevant majors in universities, reflecting the mainstream and trends of current technological development. The book introduces the fundamental theories of modern control systems and the main methods of control system analysis and design, including linear control systems and optimal control. It progresses from simple to complex, offering insightful content. The state-space method is not only the foundation of control theory but also the basis of modern network analysis and linear system theory. Students majoring in automation should be familiar with this fundamental method. Controllability and observability are fundamental issues in state analysis methods, which are appropriately explained in this book. Lyapunov stability theory is useful for the analysis and synthesis of both linear and nonlinear systems. It is one of the recurring classical theories in control theory, and the book provides a basic clarification. For system synthesis, it specifically discusses state feedback and output feedback control issues, and briefly covers the observer problem. The book also introduces the three basic methods of optimal control, enabling readers to build a solid theoretical foundation while mastering the ability to analyze and design control systems. This book can serve as a textbook or teaching reference for undergraduate or graduate students in control engineering or automation majors in higher education institutions. It can also be used as a teaching reference for dynamic economic system courses in economic management majors and as a reference for engineering and technical personnel.
