Features: The "Weekly Plan for Junior High School Chinese Reading and Writing" consists of ten series. The editorial committee of the series adheres to the principles of practicality and richness in writing, with knowledge accumulation and language sense cultivation as the main focus. It closely aligns with the new curriculum standards, selecting various types of texts suitable for junior high school students to read. The series compiles Chinese reading materials and writing prompts, arranged in a scientific and rational schedule to help students absorb more knowledge and appreciate deeper meanings. The series is not only highly beneficial for students' self-study and parents' guidance but also provides excellent reference value for teachers' instruction.
Based on learning stages, teaching progress, and requirements, the series is divided into 50 weeks, with each series covering 5 weeks. Each day features a different format:
- Monday [Prepare for Basic Knowledge] Focuses on "Knowledge Warehouse," "Idiom Stories," "Literary Figures," and "Biographical Readings," primarily summarizing, comparing, and organizing the knowledge that junior high school students need to memorize.
- Tuesday [Explore Poems, Prose, and Rhymes] "Ancient Charm of China" selects must-learn classical Chinese poems and texts from the new curriculum standards, providing explanations for key phrases and concise, clear annotations. Additionally, to enhance students' poetic appreciation and expand their reading, "New Branches of Willow" features selected modern and contemporary Chinese poems as well as foreign poetry.
- Wednesday [Appreciate Contemporary and Classic Prose] Presents exquisite prose suitable for junior high school students, including narrative, lyrical, and science-related essays from China and abroad. The selections are broad in scope and thought-provoking. To help students better understand the texts, "Savoring the Essence" and "Sharpening Thinking" are included after each article.
- Thursday [Discover Masterpieces by Renowned Authors] Quickly connects 50 masterpieces with the curriculum, introducing and guiding students to read relevant works by Chinese and foreign masters, helping them extend and expand their in-class knowledge within limited extracurricular reading time.
- Friday [Reflect on Life's Philosophy] Through vivid and engaging stories and insightful comments, readers can gain meaningful insights while reading leisurely, learning to face life's challenges with composure and understanding life more profoundly.
- Saturday [Write Creative Essays] Revolves around "Exemplary Essays" and "Creative Expression," featuring five columns: "Writing Inspiration," "Expanding Ideas," "Decoding Essay Topics," "Teacher-Student Q&A," and "Comparative Reviews." The series closely integrates reading and writing, with topic selection linked to the junior high school entrance exam, including a "Junior High Entrance Exam Preview."
