Features: The "Weekly Plan for Junior High School Chinese Reading and Writing" consists of ten series. The editorial committee adheres to the principles of practicality and richness in writing, focusing on knowledge accumulation and language sense cultivation, closely aligning with the new curriculum standards. It selects various types of texts suitable for junior high school students to read, compiling Chinese reading and writing materials. Under a scientific and reasonable schedule, it enables students to acquire more knowledge and appreciate deeper meanings. The series is not only highly beneficial for students' self-study and parents' guidance but also serves as a valuable reference for teachers' instruction.
Based on learning stages, teaching progress, and requirements, the series is divided into 50 weeks, with each series covering 5 weeks. Each day features a different format:
- Monday [Prepare Basic Knowledge] Focuses on "Knowledge Warehouse," "Idiom Stories," "Literary Figures," and "Biographical Quick Reads," primarily summarizing, comparing, and organizing knowledge that junior high students need to memorize.
- Tuesday [Explore Poetry and Prose] "Ancient Charm" selects must-learn classical Chinese poems and texts from the new curriculum standards, providing explanations for key terms and concise, clear annotations. Additionally, "New Branches of Willow" includes selected modern and contemporary Chinese poems as well as foreign poetry to enhance students' appreciation and reading volume.
- Wednesday [Appreciate Contemporary Essays] Features exquisite essays suitable for junior high students, including narrative, lyrical, and science and technology essays from China and abroad. The selections are broad in scope and thought-provoking. To aid comprehension, each essay includes "Savoring the Essence" and "Sharpening Thinking."
- Thursday [Review Masterpieces] Connects 50 masterpieces with the curriculum, introducing and guiding students to read relevant Chinese and foreign works, helping them extend and expand their in-class knowledge within limited extracurricular reading time.
- Friday [Reflect on Life Philosophy] Through vivid and engaging stories and insightful comments, readers can gain meaningful insights while reading leisurely, learning to face life's challenges with composure and understanding life more deeply.
- Saturday [Write Creative Essays] Revolves around "Exemplary Essays" and "Creative Expression," featuring five columns: "Writing Inspiration," "Expanding Ideas," "Decoding Essay Topics," "Teacher-Student Q&A," and "Comparative Reviews," closely linking reading and writing. The selection of topics is connected to the junior high school entrance exam, with a special section titled "Exam Preview."
