Features: This book reflects the spirit of the Ministry of Education's proposal to promote quality education and adjust the teaching content and requirements of secondary school education, striving for an appropriate level of difficulty, avoiding bias or obscurity, highlighting key points, broad coverage, and focusing on expansion and extension while closely aligning with the textbook and emphasizing the cultivation of students' language skills. The book mainly consists of two parts: Part 1, which is the explanation and practice of knowledge points synchronized with the textbook; and Part 2, which is the junior high school entrance examination review.
Part 1 includes the explanation of knowledge points, text translation, and answers to after-class exercises for Units 11-15 and the Review of Units 11-15 from the textbook. The content of each unit is composed of the following sections:
Exploration Objectives help students summarize the key words, phrases, sentence patterns, grammar highlights, and difficulties of the unit, giving them a general understanding of the goals and requirements they should achieve through learning the unit.
Exploration Guidance includes the Knowledge Palace and Practical Activities. In the "Knowledge Palace," selected knowledge points of each unit are analyzed, explained, and illustrated in depth. The examples and language analysis are carefully designed, with systematic explanations, concise narratives, clear and easy-to-understand content, and targeted training. Common errors that students may make are also analyzed, and detailed explanations of grammar highlights are provided.
The purpose of "Practical Activities" is to encourage students to apply what they have learned to real-life situations, promoting flexible learning, increasing interest in English, and consolidating knowledge. Each activity provides examples. Through this part, students can deepen their understanding of the content, expand their knowledge, and elevate their learning.
Happy Packets serve to strengthen students' fundamental skills and abilities in language, vocabulary, grammar, and communication. The goal is to broaden students' horizons, improve their ability to adapt to various question types, and enhance their psychological preparedness for exams.
After each unit, there is a "Read and Reflect" section with Chinese-English comparisons, combining knowledge and fun to expand students' knowledge and further improve their English proficiency.
To help students better understand and master the textbook, we provide "Direct Translation of Text" and "Answers to After-Class Exercises," which are attached at the back of the book.
Part 2, the junior high school entrance examination review, includes grammar review and listening guidance.
Grammar Review is organized by topic, with each topic including "Basic Grammar Explanation," "Analysis of Typical Examples," and "Past Junior High School Entrance Examination Training." These sections summarize grammar concepts, select representative examples for detailed analysis, and provide targeted practice with questions from past exams in various regions to reinforce learning.
Listening Guidance provides detailed explanations of the examination format, ability requirements, problem-solving techniques, and precautions for junior high school entrance examination listening tests. It is accompanied by several sets of listening simulation tests. After carefully reading the guidance, students can practice "real combat" and are confident that it will be of great help.
At the end, there are three sets of junior high school entrance examination simulation papers to comprehensively assess students' mastery of junior high school English knowledge and provide them with an experience of the actual exam.
The book provides detailed answers to the Happy Packets, comprehensive test questions, junior high school entrance examination training questions, listening simulation tests, and junior high school entrance examination simulation papers for students to check after practice, ensuring timely feedback and correction, and truly achieving meaningful learning.
