Features: "Nature," "Self," "Society," "Science," "Culture," and "Spirit" are the six major elements in our lives and also the six themes of humanities education. We strive to enable students to "read classic works and engage in dialogues with masters," integrating arts and sciences, discussing the past and present, and exploring both Eastern and Western perspectives. Through this series of books, we aim to develop students' noble human qualities, help them gain a comprehensive understanding of various expression methods and literary forms, enhance their language skills, and achieve humanities-based cultivation. Our pursuit is to enable students to progress layer by layer and step by step in their reading, while expanding their horizons in alignment with their textbooks is also the readers' aspiration. This volume takes "Man and Nature" as its theme, with the title "The Yellow River's Waters Flow from Heaven Above." Through the imagery of the Yellow River, the mother river of humanity, we subtly imply the kinship between humans and nature. Nature is a wonderful world, where there are beautiful landscapes, the resources that sustain our lives, the artistic sources that nourish our souls, and countless truths and insights.
