Features: This series of books is divided into four main parts—fable stories, fairy tales, myth stories, and science stories—based on the reading interests of primary school students. According to their reading abilities, the content is further divided into five levels: lower grades (first and second grades), third grade, fourth grade, fifth grade, and sixth grade. The reading materials progress from simple to complex, from easy to difficult, covering everything from ancient to modern and from China to the world. This is designed to expand students' reading scope, enrich their extracurricular knowledge, and cultivate their reading interest and aesthetic ability.
1. Fables are a popular literary form enjoyed by people. In their short length, they hide interesting plots and contain profound truths. They are the epitome and crystallization of human wisdom. In writing, fables primarily use exaggeration, often highlighting a particular trait of a certain group of people with vivid and exaggerated descriptions, making the theme of the fable more prominent. Under the strong stimulation of their profound impact, they give people deep inspiration and thought.
2. Fairy tales are fantastical stories woven from artistic concepts that align with children's imagination. Excellent fairy tales feature bold fantasies, strong exaggeration, vivid plots, and healthy yet rich and diverse content, filled with romanticism. They have always been loved by young children and serve as a good teaching material for teachers and parents to impart moral education and aesthetic education to children.
3. Myths originally reflect the primitive understanding of ancient people about the origin of the world, natural phenomena, and social phenomena. They are stories and legends expressed through supernatural images and fantastical forms. In myths, the world of gods is often a copy of the human world. The relationships between gods, demons, and immortals in the illusory celestial realm are merely projections of human and social relationships in the real world.
4. Science stories can be categorized into science essays, science fairy tales, science stories, and science fiction novels. Science essays or science articles are scientific knowledge readers written in prose form. Science fairy tales, also known as knowledge fairy tales, convey scientific knowledge to children in the form of fairy tales. Science stories teach various scientific knowledge through short stories. Science fiction novels are literary styles that describe how humans will struggle against nature in the future, offering a glimpse into the future of science. They portray some technological achievements that may become reality as if they have already been realized.
This book is a spiritual feast for primary school students and a valuable resource for teachers and parents to guide students and children in reading. May the young readers grow up healthily nurtured by the wisdom in this book!
