Features: To provide readers with the necessary quotations, save their time, and eliminate the effort of searching, we have compiled this "Dictionary of Chinese Quotations." It is a medium-sized reference book that collects famous quotes and sentences from various types of works from the pre-Qin period to the late Qing Dynasty, totaling 4,091 entries. To facilitate readers' retrieval and citation, we have adopted a classified arrangement. Although this classification may not be entirely appropriate, and the categorization of entries may not be entirely precise. Each entry, in terms of its ideological content, is inevitably influenced by the historical conditions of its time and the author's own stance and viewpoints. Readers can surely discern this.
