These materials were then organized, summarized, and refined using hotel management theories to extract universally applicable insights. Additionally, the book was designed to align with the characteristics of college-level teaching, making it both exemplary and operational, enabling students to apply what they learn in practice. As a result, much of the content can be directly referenced and utilized by managers in real-world scenarios. This book is guided by contemporary mature management theories, incorporating and drawing upon new experiences and advanced methods from leisure and wellness departments in hotels and large-scale comprehensive leisure facilities both domestically and internationally. It provides a comprehensive discussion of leisure and wellness management. The book thoroughly covers topics such as the setup of leisure and wellness programs, the organization and human resource management of leisure and wellness departments, the role of leisure and wellness managers, the quality management of leisure and wellness services, the management of leisure and wellness equipment, the handling of complaints in leisure and wellness departments, and the operations of leisure and wellness departments. A significant portion of the book is derived from the practical experience and summaries of mature leisure and wellness management, serving as a valuable reference for managers with limited experience as well as leisure facilities in need of establishing and refining their management systems.
