Features: With the deepening of China's reform and opening-up, international financial activities have become increasingly frequent, and new theories, new operations, new standards, and new regulations are constantly emerging. To meet the urgent need of professionals in the field of finance and public finance in China for specialized terminology, especially new terms and meanings, the Beijing Bilingual Dictionary Development Center has organized nearly 100 experts and scholars proficient in English from the finance and public finance sector in Beijing, as well as university teachers, to compile this "English-Chinese and Chinese-English Specialized Vocabulary Handbook for Finance and Public Finance." There are three main features of this series: comprehensiveness, novelty, and practicality.
The comprehensiveness refers first to the full range of categories. The entire series includes ten volumes: politics and finance, banking, accounting, statistics, auditing, investment, securities, taxation, insurance, and futures. Second, the content of each volume is comprehensive, with a large number of entries. It covers both theory and practice, both domestic and international, and includes as many relevant terms as possible.
The novelty means that each volume pays attention to including new terms and meanings of recently introduced standards and regulations in China, as well as paying special attention to computer-related terminology.
The practicality refers first to the book being divided into two parts: English-Chinese and Chinese-English, serving two purposes with one book. Second, all entries are arranged in alphabetical order by English letters or Pinyin, making it easy to find. Additionally, the layout design is concise and clear, making it convenient to search.
